WORLD SERIES 26
Summary
On Sat 21st Jun 2008 Gary hoster AWS26 at the Mile Oak Community Centre
near Brighton. Many thanks to his wife Paula for tha sausage sandwiches.
It was a good event and I had mixed fortune with 3 of my ants, still need to build that walker sometime. Private Iron easily managed to get though the group stages and through to the 3rd/4th playoff. General mayhem had a slightly tougher route losing to fast dalek and haing to go through the loosers route to meet Private Iron in the playoffs, somehow I managed to beat Variant even though I lost a track. Gross incompetance got to the 3rd round, is very hit and miss with that robot, sometimes it does well.
For the playoffs I knew I had at least 3rd place so General Mayhem on 6V regulated gave way to the unregulated 7.4V Private Iron as I needed the speed to fight Dynamite. However I had major track issues and could not get one of the tracks working, thus I lost out to Dynamite in the Final. Simon is catching up on wins now, just 1 more and we will be equal.
