WORLD SERIES 24
Summary:
AWS24 was hosted by Josh in Ickenham. It was held on Sat 17th Nov and followed the double elimination system.
I had the week off just before AWS24 so had plenty of time to build my ants and get some driving practice in, I should have got more practice in as I kept driving Gross Incompetance into the pit. Odyssey now needs a serious rebuild or to retire, it just can't take it with the new style of ants being used. For the past several events I have been focusing on lifters and haven't used a walker, I really should build a new walker sometime. My new ant, 'General Mayhem' did ok and somehow managed to win, still not sure ho. I didn't make it easy for myself and had to fight Antlifter, Dynamite twice, Mutant, Variant, DBA EVO and Katjuscha twice. Tool quite a bit of damage and after a few rounds lost one of the tracks, then after each round I had to put them back together.
